[Press Release] ZAYA Joins CHERI Alliance to Deliver Modular Microcontainerisation and Comprehensive Security for the CHERI Architecture


Embedded World 2025, Germany, 10th March – ZAYA, a leading provider of security, containerisation and microservice solutions for microcontrollers, today announced its membership in the CHERI Alliance and its commitment to supporting the CHERI (Capability Hardware Enhanced RISC Instructions) architecture. This commitment will deliver enhanced security and a significantly improved developer experience for applications running on CHERI-enabled systems.




CHERI introduces groundbreaking hardware-enforced capabilities to modern processors, providing robust memory safety and isolation. By restricting access to memory based on capabilities, CHERI significantly mitigates common software vulnerabilities like buffer overflows and memory corruption.
